You can transfer a participant from one ticket type to another after an order has been placed.
1. Within the participants list page of the manage participants section, locate and click on the desired participant's name.
2. Once the participant's details are displayed, click the 'Change Ticket Type' button.
3. Underneath the existing ticket details, the new ticket details section will enable you to specify:
- The new event which the participant will be transferred to, or remain on.
- The new ticket which the participant will be assigned.
- Options to send an email notification, and to add notes.
Note: Take care when completing a participant transfer, you can exceed the 'sold out' status of your tickets and exceed the event capacity.
4. Processing payments and refunds. In the event that there is a cost difference between the original ticket and the new ticket, you can process a payment or refund. Please ensure you do this prior to issuing the new ticket.
5. Once any necessary refunds or payments have been processed, you can click 'Issue New Ticket' to complete the transfer process.
