Creating an affiliate scheme 

Create an affiliate scheme to reward participants that share their affiliate link and generate sales for your event. We'll show the affiliate offer on the confirmation page, within their EtchRock account and even send them an email to ensure they know about the offer. You can apply a discount code to affiliate links, so when an affiliate shares their link with their friends they will have a discount automatically applied for them. 

 

Creating an affiliate scheme 

There are two stages to creating an affiliate scheme, first you need to create the reward and then the target needed to claim the reward. The below details how to create and setup both stages in 5 simple steps.

Step 1 - Navigate to 'Promotional codes', Manage Event > Registration Options > Promotional codes.

Step 2 - Click '+ Manage affiliate rewards'  and then 'Add reward'. 

Step 3 - Create your reward, set the discount to be received and which tickets it should be applied to. 

Step 4 - Once you have created your affiliate reward, navigate to 'Affiliate Scheme'. Manage Event > Invite and Promote > Affiliate Scheme

Step 5 - Complete the form. There are three target types available which are listed below. Select the target type and target. Then using the dropdown select the affiliate reward that you previously set up and click 'Save'.

• Sales Made - The number of orders placed through their link.
• Money Generated - The sales generated through the affiliate link.
• Visits - The number of visitors that visit their link.

That's it, when your participants buy a ticket they will see their affiliate offer on the confirmation page, within their EtchRock account, and we even send them an email to ensure they know about the offer. 

Apply a discount code to affiliate links

Step 1 - First you'll need to create a discount code, this won't be unique to each user so you should be mindful of the limit (you won't want to set this to one, you may even want it to be unlimited). 

Step 2 - Copy the code and navigate back to your affiliate setup page. 

Step 3 - Paste the code into the field labelled 'Auto apply discount code when visiting affiliate link (optional)'. 

That's it, your discount will automatically be applied when someone clicks on any affiliate link.
