How to transfer a ticket to a friend
Transferring tickets is an option set by an event organiser. If enabled, you can transfer your event ticket/registration to another ticket within the same event, to another ticket within a different event or to someone else.
If the ticket you are transferring to costs more than the original ticket, then you will be required to pay the difference. If the ticket you are transferring to costs less than the original ticket, you will not receive a refund for the difference.
Transferring a ticket can be done within My Orders. Click on the order containing the ticket you wish to transfer and then click 'Change Ticket Type'.
How to transfer from one ticket type to another
If you have bought a ticket to an event and wish to transfer to another ticket type either within the same event or within a different event please open your order and click 'Request transfer'.
Step 1 - Transferring from
Please select the ticket you would like to transfer.
Step 2 - Transferring to
Please select the event and the new ticket type you would like to receive.
Step 3 - Pricing Overview
Please confirm the tickets you are transferring from and to are correct. If there is a cost difference, it will be shown here. Once you are happy click 'Next'.
Step 5 - Confirm Transfer
If there is a charge required to complete the transfer, please enter your details and click 'Pay and complete transfer'
When your transfer is complete you will be shown a success message and the page will refresh displaying your new order and ticket.

How to transfer a ticket to a friend
If you have bought a ticket to an event and can no longer attend, you may wish to transfer it to someone else. To do this open the order containing your ticket within My Orders and click 'Transfer ticket to someone else'
Step 1 - Complete form
You will then see the below form to complete which will send a ticket transfer request to the person you are transferring the ticket to. The person you send the transfer request to will receive an email with your message and a link to claim the ticket.
Step 2 - Transfer request
Once the individual receives the transfer request and clicks 'Claim ticket' they will be able to register and make payment.
Step 3 - Receive confirmation and refund
Once they make payment for the ticket you will receive an email confirming the ticket transfer has been completed. You will also receive an email with information about your refund.
